He's Your Neighbor, And He Actually Knows What He's Doing!
Jim went into construction after high school and worked as an apprentice electrician. Around that time, the economy took a downturn, and jobs were hard to find. As a result, Jim joined the Navy and was trained as a machinist, performing machine shop work such as cutting threads, machining gears, flame spraying, electroplating, and welding.
Jim left the Navy after four years and went to work for Reynolds Metals Company as a maintenance machinist. In that capacity, Jim spent five years performing functions such as rebuilding production machinery and components, machining, welding, hydraulic repair, equipment maintenance, and fabrication.
As a result of his superior skills, strong work ethic, and positive attitude, he was promoted to a Production Supervisor role and worked in a managerial capacity for the next 35 years with Reynolds Metals Company, Ball Corporation, Rexam Metal Container, and Boeing.
Jim then left Boeing and retired. Encouraged by friends and family, he pursued his DIY passion and started his Handyman business. Since that time, he has been involved in countless home interior remodeling projects, electrical and plumbing repairs, deck construction, bathroom and kitchen remodels, outdoor retaining wall construction, various boat dock maintenance and repairs, farm and ranch repairs, fence building, and high-end landscaping projects.
Jim's Handyman stature is bolstered by his strong work ethic, reasonable prices, the military service discount he passes onto his clients, and the overall demeanor and respect he extends to his clients. Jim stands behind his services, and his work is free if a client is not happy with the finished product that he was contracted to deliver.
Jim lives in Gig Harbor with his wife, Carrie, his teenage son, Hunter, two dogs, and a cat.
